AthleticsThe Athletics Program at D.A.D. takes place in the Horace Mann gymnasium and the Horace Mann field. The gym is open from 3:30 to 5:30 every day. Athletics is a vital part of the D.A.D. curriculum, and a necessary way to unwind after a hard day of learning, and work. Our Athletic coordinators run activities such as Bombardment, "Individge," knockout, and basketball tournaments. Children are given an opportunity to develop skills and enjoy physical activity under the careful supervision of D.A.D. staff.
BasketballThe Basketball league is run every winter and is available to students in 1st- 6th grade. First and Second grade students spend time learning the fundamentals of basketball through drills and mini games. Third through sixth grade are split in to teams and play games most days during the week.

HomeworkD.A.D. stresses the importance of homework and quiet study time for our students. There is always a space away from the activity that is going on, that children can use to complete their assignments. Every Wednesday, D.A.D. has D.E.A.R. - "Drop Everything And Read" - where an entire hour is devoted to homework and reading. The staff is also available to help children with any questions that they may have. Our students are provided opportunities to complete their homework on a daily basis.
Student Run ClubsStudent run clubs are a big part of D.A.D. Students decide what the clubs are about, what supplies is needed, and what days of the week the club will meet.
